Site privacy

This site sets no cookies, has no analytics and no adverts, and has no forms. It loads no fonts, videos or scripts from other companies.

When you visit

The company that hosts the site keeps standard server records of each visit (such as the IP address and the page asked for) to deliver the site and keep it secure, under its own privacy policy. I do not use them to track visitors.

The teaching videos and lectures are on YouTube and Panopto. When you open one, that site's own privacy policy applies.

When you write to me

If you write to bmedicineuk@gmail.com, I receive your email address, your message and anything you attach, and use them only to answer you. I keep them for no longer than 12 months after your question is answered and do not share them, except with the email provider that holds the mailbox. Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete what I hold about you, by writing to the same address, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Hub

Hub, the Mac app, has its own Privacy Policy.
